Precast Panel - Revolutionary Solutions for High-rise Apartment Construction
Workshop
On 7/7/2012 a workshop "Precast Panels - Integrated Solutions for high-rise Buildings" have been held by AusCAST at Vietbuild 2012.
There were representatives from Ministry of Construction, Vietnam Association of Real Estate, Professors from Ho Chi Minh Polytechnical University attended the workshop.
Mr. Tran Phuoc Dong MSc. (Director of AusCAST) has lead the workshop. His speech included:
- Architectural, Structural solutions in construction of high-rise apartments using precast panels;
- Successful and efficient application of precast panels in high-rise apartments more than 20 years in Australia;
- Prospective application of precast panels in Vietnam.
His speech has been followed by a discussion by audient. The attendees included design consultants, investors, contractors... They have raised a lot of queries as well as expressed there support of application of precast panels in high-rise apartment construction.
Some support speeches were given by Department of Construction Materials of Ministry of Construction (Mr. Cung), Vietnam Association of Real Estate (Mr. Nga) and Professor of Structural Engineering of Ho Chi Minh Polytechnical University (Prof. Chanh).
